Lifting Inspector

Inspects and certifies lifting gear — slings, shackles, hooks, master links and lifting beams — on client sites and in our workshop.

Responsibilities

  • Perform job duties in line with industry standards, customer instructions and WELGAMA requirements.
  • Hold the certification or qualification required for the type of inspection performed.
  • Operate hand tools and plant equipment as needed, keeping the work area clean and safe.
  • Meet production goals and comply with the WELGAMA HSE policies.
  • Report to the supervisor or the designated company representative.
